Emily began making collages in architecture school. Her professor, who taught a class on the medium, inspired her to explore collage both as a way to represent architectural projects and as a mode of expression. Emily continued collaging, mostly as a creative outlet, and has only recently began selling her work at local markets. "The in-person connection with the physical artwork is important to me," says Emily, "it's really exciting to see people find the pieces that speak to them."
